simple portfolio

I really love this design.
At first glance it shows a lot about the photography but is also not too busy so it's easy to navigate.The drop down menu looks very effective with the opacity not being 100%. It reminds you of the image behind it as you are navigating.

The two tone background really draws your eye to the main focus, which is the enlarged photograph and the navigation bar, which I think is very well thought out. The background not being pure black gives a softer and more welcoming feel to the page, aswell as the touch of orange appearing every now and again.

Overall I believe it's very well designed and would keep interest whilst the person would be viewing the page
